The simplest way to describe our
services is to explain the most popular ones. We have
many services available, other than regularly
scheduled cleaning, from a one-time clean (before your party or
family gathering) to a move-in or out clean to help with
a room gone out of control (organizing that garage you keep
meaning to get to - but never can).
One-Time Cleaning/Organization

Man
Maid can be available for just about any cleaning need
that our Clients have (from moving out of your apartment
to getting rid of that junk in the basement), scheduled at least 1
week in advance, at the rate of $25.00 per man hour. We will give the
Client a written estimate of the number of hours (and
men) required to do the job and will not exceed that number
unless approved by you, in writing, in
advance.
On Call
Help

Man
Maid can be available for spot cleaning or miscellaneous
errands during normal business hours, with less than 1
week notice (upon availability), at the rate of $20.00 per
man hour. If called
in an emergency, such as lock-outs (we will keep extra keys in our
locked cabinet if you wish) or to check on your home during a
storm while you are away. The emergency/after hours rate is
$30.00 per man hour.

How
do we Get Started? We will sit down with you to customize cleaning to fit
your needs and your budget. We will provide the equipment and
cleaning supplies (request environmentally friendly supplies if
preferred), unless you would like to enjoy a reduced rate for our
using yours! All of our
services are backed by our guarantee. Please refer to our web site
for answers to many frequently asked questions, though you are always welcome to call or to
email us to get some
answers!
We'll leave you
with a checklist (like the one below) showing the
various services that were provided each time that we clean your
home. Occasionally you
will receive a questionnaire to complete, so that we can make sure
our quality of service meets your standards. One of our supervisors is
always on-site with the cleaner(s), on every
clean.

Guarantee
We
have built our business and reputation by providing our Clients with
the best possible service. Even so, because our employees (and
owners too) are human beings, they (we) sometimes make mistakes. For
this reason, we offer you this guarantee: If you are not satisfied
with our service, we will come back to your home and re-clean to
your satisfaction.
Referral
Credit
Our
Clients receive discounts on future
cleans for referring another Client. Credit will be
applied after the new Client has signed their service agreement and
paid for their first service.
General Policies
- Either
party may cancel the service at any time, for any reason,
once all scheduled services have been performed and paid
for.
- The
safety of our employees is an important issue. Therefore, all
firearms in a Client's home must be stored and locked. Any alarm
monitoring service must be notified of our access rights to the
home and Client must notify us of the current code and security
password. Client shall also write a letter, to be shown to local
law enforcement in case of a problem, giving permission for our
presence in the home.
- Man
Maid will monitor the actual cleaning time for the first 2-3
months of service and occasionally thereafter. Man Maid will
contact the Client to discuss possible price or service revisions
if the cleaning time differs drastically from the original
bid.
- Man
Maid will charge a flat fee for scheduled cleaning of
Client’s home. Man Maid reserves the right to
re-evaluate flat fee rates, with at least 10 days’ written notice
to Client of any changes.
- We
do our best to be as flexible as we can with the schedule. If you
need to change a cleaning day or time, we will do our best to
accommodate you. A minimum of 24 hours notice is requested
for any changes or cancellations. Client will be charged 50% of
cleaning fee if canceling with less than 24 hours notice, 100%
during peak (Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer) or for one
week before, during or after a
holiday.
- For
the safety of our employees, Man Maid reserves the right
to close our offices at any time due to inclement weather. In such
cases, cleans will be re-scheduled on the next available
date.
- Although
greatly appreciated, please understand that tipping is not
required and employees should not request tips from you. Please
report any inappropriate behavior to a supervisor or to owner
immediately.
- Client
agrees to pay for services rendered when invoiced for such
services. A $10 billing fee will apply if payment is not received
within 15 days of the date of the invoice. A 12% finance charge
will be added to unpaid balances over 30 days, which will accrue
monthly.
- Bank
charges incurred due to “NSF” checks will be passed on to Client
at a flat rate of $25 per check.
- If
we are specifically requested to dust/clean inside of a
hutch/china cabinet, dust any computer equipment or wash dishes,
Client agrees to not hold Man Maid, or any of its employees,
responsible for damage to such article(s) or component(s), unless
such damage is proven willful or intentional.
- While
we make every effort not to break items, accidents do
happen. Identical replacement will be attempted but is not
guaranteed. For this reason, we request that all irreplaceable
items (whether monetary or sentimental) be stored and/or not
cleaned by our employees. A damage report will be sent both
by email and by regular mail, if any damage does take
place. Man Maid must be notified within 24 hours
of the clean if damage is found by Client that was not
reported.
- Man
Maid is not responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper
installation of any item. All surfaces (i.e., marble,
granite, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without
causing harm. You
must notify us prior to our first clean if special cleansers
are to be used on any surface or item or if cleaning of any
surface or item is to be avoided.
- For
quality control, we will mail the Client a checklist
indicating the various services that we provided each time that we
visited or cleaned their home. These forms are completed by
our supervisors after he or she have personally inspected the
home.
- Our
management also personally conducts random on site and telephone
quality checks, to insure our quality of service remains
continuous.
- Man
Maid reserves the right to change an
existing service agreement with 30 days’ written notice to
the Client. The Client will not be obligated to continue
if the terms are not mutually agreed
upon.
